Tom and Claudia. Tom, a reference to Tolkein’s Tom Bombadil - a spirit of nature one with all life meets Claudia, a caterpillar wandering among weeds just after a warm spring rain. “Claudia” comes from the scientific name for this particular caterpillar - Euptoieta Claudia.
