A dear friend of mine was baking a blueberry pie one afternoon and the atmosphere she captured was so soft and so humble, I couldn’t resist painting my impression of her time baking in the kitchen.
I wanted to stay forever among the blueberries, bathed in soft spring light. It was a perfect moment among these symbols of spiritual insight and one’s connection to nature.
